A large antique library table with three drawers to each side, offering useful storage and a good working surface. The table stands on turned legs with original-style castors and has a polished dark stained pine top with a mahogany surround.

 

This would originally have had a leather inset top. The pine top has been dark stained and polished, resulting in a more rustic, characterful look while still retaining the smart library table form.

 

A good size for use as a writing desk, library table, dining table, shop display table or statement hallway piece.

 

Condition

In good antique used condition with age-related wear throughout. The top shows wear and signs of previous use. There are knocks, scuffs, small losses to some veneer around the drawers, as shown. The drawers run and the table has plenty of character. This is an antique working piece.
