I've been drawn to gothic fashion since I was about fifteen. Not the costume version — not capes and plastic fangs — but the real thing: the dark romanticism, the considered layering, the pieces that feel like they were made for people who take their aesthetic seriously. I'm thirty-one now. For sixteen years I've been building a wardrobe that reflects who I actually am.
