I have owned, at various points in my adult life, approximately seven denim jackets. I have kept exactly none of them. Too stiff. Too boxy. Too short. Too long. One that fit perfectly across the shoulders and then refused to close over anything other than a thin vest. One that was the right shade of blue but had a cut that made me look like I was wearing a denim box.

First Wear: Over a Floral Dress
I wore it for the first time over a floral midi dress to a friend's birthday lunch. Six Weeks of Regular Wear
I've machine washed it four times now. The blue has stayed true — no fading, no greying, no change in the texture of the fabric. The buttons are all still firmly attached, which sounds like a low bar but is something I've had issues with on cheaper jackets.
