I have loved Stitch since I was seven years old. Lilo & Stitch came out when I was in primary school and something about that film — the found family, the Hawaiian setting, the idea that the most chaotic and difficult creature could also be the most loyal and loving — lodged itself in my heart and has never left. I am now twenty-six and I still have a Stitch plush on my bed. I am not embarrassed about this.
