I rent a one-bedroom flat in Glasgow. It’s a nice flat — good location, decent size for one person, original cornicing that I’m very fond of. The bathroom, however, is small. Not charmingly compact. Small. There is a bath, a toilet, a sink, and approximately enough floor space to stand in front of each of them in turn without being able to stand in front of two simultaneously.
